Salem Police are dealing with a multiple car accident on the Center Street bridge which has completely blocked eastbound traffic leading onto the bridge. Traffic is being diverted onto Edgewater Street and then back onto the bridge while the accident is being investigated and cleared.
Drivers are urged to slow down due to the conditions.
We will update this release once the bridge is completely cleared of the accident.
