Suspect Sought in Capitol Market Burglary

The Salem Police Department is reaching out to the community in an attempt to identify a suspect who broke into the Capitol Market, 1410 State St, on November 4th at about 4:30 am. The suspect broke out a window to gain access and likely cut himself on the broken glass.

The suspect is described as a tall and skinny male, wearing a thin brimmed dark colored fedora style hat, a dark colored hoodie, dark colored pants with rips, black shoes, a light colored bandana covering his face, and carrying a backpack. The suspect stole numerous packages of cigarettes.
