Emerge Underground is a once a month, one night art show that gives artists a non threatening environment to show there work. The show is for artists who have never shown there work, artists who have shown, and artists that feel there is not an appropriate venue for their artwork in the region.
In essence, the show will work like this:
We take your art from 12PM to 5PM the day of the show. We hang your art. You come back at 7PM with your friends, family or whoever you invite. You stay until the show is over so that you can be on hand to answer questions about your art or sell it. At 11PM you take down your art and go home.
The details:
The cost for an artist to show is $5.00. Each artist can only submit three pieces. (To clarify, you bring $5 and three pieces of art.) We take that $5 and put it towards print advertising and our website. We do NOT take a commission on any of your sales. So it's important for you to stay so you can handle payment, we do not handle any sales. Emerge Underground is free to the public to attend. It will be held on the Final Friday of every month starting October 28, 2011. The show runs from 7PM to 11PM. We will have House music by DJ Broken.
