Salem Police Dept.: River Road S is closed due to a two vehicle head-on crash with injuries. Marion County Sheriff's Office is enroute to investigate. The crash is just south of Sawmill Road. UPDATE

It would be helpfull if signs could be posted in Independence and Salem at the entrances to River road when this arterial connection must be closed. Thank you for considering this.
