Salem Police Dept.: Salem Police have closed: High St at Union St NE to southbound traffic; southbound traffic on High St at Marion St NE to southbound traffic; eastbound traffic on Center St at Liberty St NE. Foot traffic in the area is also severely affected while a suspicious package at Salem Center Mall is being investigated.
