Raise Your Voice

Be heard online. It's easier then it looks and it's free. Creating your own website with your own creative ideas and observations is an excellent way to connect with other people like yourself. This site was created using programs that are online and free. They're simple to use. Just sign up for an account, pick a name, a template and start writing. It allows you to post pictures, videos, web polls, and list your favorite blogs. It doesn't have to be perfect, none of them are. Once you're published your words can be seen over the entire world. International visitors are common on everyone's sites.

What to write? You might think your life is dull but a blog will give you an excuse to go out and experience new things and share them with the community. Through my other site, eatsalem.com, I've explored dozens of restaurants I would have shied away from in the past. Find a niche that nobody else is writing about. Write about the events in your neighborhood or about what's happening in your local networking clubs. The internet is full of interesting voices and yours would be welcomed.

Here's what you need to get started.

Sign up for an account with one of these services. They're free.

  3. That's a good idea Pam. If you get something going please post info on this page. I think there are lots of people out there that would like to do a blog but are intimidated by the technology. If only they knew how easy it is, and fun.
