UNIDENTIFIED SUSPECT BURGLARIZES KMART

Just after 1:00 AM, Monday, July 1, 2013 a white male broke out a window at Kmart, 2470 Mission St SE. The suspect was able to steal a small amount of merchandise before fleeing the store moments after entering. Surveillance cameras recorded the crime.
The suspect was dressed in dark pants and was wearing a black hoodie along with a dark baseball cap. The hoodie appears unique as it has three large white stars on the right sleeve. The Salem Police Department is releasing a photo of the suspect in hopes someone can identify the suspect based upon the clothing. Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to telephone Detective Tom Johnson at (503)540-2358.
