WITNESS SOUGHT IN ROBBERY
Posted: January 5th, 2012 1:06 PM
Just before 10:00 PM last Monday, a male robbed the Baskin Robbins ice cream shop located at 3239 Market St NE. The suspect was approximately 6'0" tall; thin build, and was wearing a black ski mask, black hooded jacket, and blue jeans. The suspect displayed a handgun and made off with a small amount of money. He was last seen riding off on a red bike. No one was injured during the robbery.
Immediately after the robbery, a man entered the business and asked the clerk if they were alright. The clerk was on the phone with 911 and did not speak with this person. He then walked out of the store and has not been identified. It is believed this person was a witness to the robbery.
Anyone who witnessed this crime or has information regarding it is asked to telephone Cpl. Mike Baskett at (503)540-2463.
