REWARD OFFERED FOR ROBBER

An unidentified male entered the Plaid Pantry Store, 2505 State St, at about 4:00am Sunday morning, displayed a pistol, and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspect managed to escape the area with a very small amount of money and a few cigarettes. No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect was described as a white male, 40 to 50 years of age, approximately 6'03" tall, thin build, wearing wire-frame glasses, a dark brown jacket, and black pants. The suspect was wearing a distinctive gray baseball hat with a purple brim with a giraffe on the front.

Plaid Pantry is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to telephone Detective Vasas at (503)540-2352.
