In Bharathanatyam, a classical dance form from South India, intricate footwork, hand gestures, and eye movements work together to intrigue audiences and tell the stories of Hindu gods and goddesses. In this performance, Natya Leela's dancer combine forces with a live musical group for a powerful and instructive evening. Natya Leela is led by artistic director Subashini Ganesan, an accomplished performer with 30-odd years of experience studying, performing, and interpreting Bharathanatyam nationally and internationally.
