SALEM POLICE INVESTIGATING SERIOUS INJURY HIT AND RUN PEDESTRIAN/VEHICLE CRASH

Salem Police Detectives are investigating a serious hit and run crash that occurred outside of a restaurant following an altercation.
The incident began at the Lucky Fortune Restaurant located at 1401 Lancaster Dr NE at approximately 10:44 pm on February 14. There was an altercation inside of the restaurant and some of the parties involved in that altercation sped away from the restaurant in a vehicle, striking at least two people in the process.
Those struck by the vehicle were transported to Salem Hospital. No further information about their identities or condition is available at this time.
The vehicle involved in the incident was located abandoned a short distance from the restaurant and investigators are attempting to locate the parties associated with that vehicle.
