Did you make it out to First Wednesday last night? There seemed to be thousands of folks out enjoying the entertainment downtown. The belly dancers took over a corner on Court St. where this video was shot. If you think you have the moves to keep up with this troupe, here's a link to a dance studio in town that teaches belly dancing. The First Wednesday has become a fun event for all ages and a boost to business. We ate at Willamette Noodle Co. on High St. and the place was packed. The owners tell me that the head count in the dining room was well above normal. There was no trouble finding parking if you are willing to walk a bit. Here's a photo of the parking garage on the corner of Marion and High St. taken around 6:45pm.
You know I haven't been down there yet because I wasn't sure how kid friendly it was.
