THROUGH THE ENTIRE MONTH OF JULY, The Culture Shock Community project, and Clockworks Cafe & Cultural Center will be offering FREE Culture and Community Classes to Salem & The Mid-Valley...courses designed FOR the community, BY the community.
Each class is open to the public. No registration is required...just drop in and participate. This diverse collection of courses spans all kinds of interests and styles. They are totally free and open to all.
Below is a list of all the courses available for the following week.
Clockworks is located at 241 Commercial St NE - DOWNTOWN in Salem. (Between Chemeketa and Court Street). VERY exciting, fun, and interesting stuff to participate in. Don't miss this chance!!

"Ladies and Gentlemen...boys and girls...it is time for us to finally pull down the paper in our windows, uncover our sign, and open our doors to the public. The Culture Shock Community Project proudly presents:
The Clockworks Cafe and Cultural Center
On May 14th..we will be celebrating our opening with a little celebration.
Doors will open at 6:30, and performances start at 7.
We are featuring the local talents of:
Hip-Hop Poet RICHARD McCLOUD
Composer JEREMY CROFOOT
and killer band LeNUNES
We will be featuring artwork by Sandi B Photography and Jesse Lindsay
We will be offering Stumptown Coffee, and tasty eats.
Not to mention giveaways, free portraits, a community art project, fun and games and MORE.
All ages are welcome. It's TOTALLY free to attend. And you are very encouraged to come!!
