SALEM FIREFIGHTER RETIRES

Rand Breitbach, Training Officer with the Salem Fire Department, retired January 31, 2013 after more than 26 years of service in the community.
Rand was initially hired by the Salem Fire Department in the summer of 1986. During his career with Salem Fire he held positions of firefighter, paramedic, medic evaluator, and engineer. He was appointed as a Fire Training Officer in 1998, a position he held until his retirement this month.
The Salem Fire Department will miss the leadership and experience Rand brought to the organization and wish him well in his retirement.
