Salem Fire Dept.: Salem Fire Department is on the scene of a natural gas leak at Court St NE and 12th St NE. Crews from Northwest Natural Gas are on scene working to fix the leak. 12th St is closed at Chemeketa St and State St. Court St is closed between 14th St and Capitol St. Traffic is being diverted.
UPDATE:
The gas leak has been repaired. Fire crews are beginning to clear the scene and streets are reopening. UPDATE
