SALEM POLICE RELEASE DRAWING OF ASSAULT SUSPECT

On January 15th, around 11:30 AM, a woman living in the 4000 block of Lidbeck Ct. SE was confronted by a suspect in her open garage. She described the suspect as a white male, 25-30 years of age, 6'0", 170 pounds, short straight brown hair, brown eyes, thin mustache with 2-3 days growth of beard, and freckles on his cheeks. She said he was wearing a black pullover hooded sweatshirt with faded white writing on the front, faded blue jeans, and black boots. The suspect forced the victim into her home where he assaulted her. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.
The Salem Police Department is releasing a drawing of the suspect in the hope of identifying the suspect. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to telephone Detective Jeff Staples at (503)540-2351.
