Join us this Saturday, July 10 at 11 a.m. for the first installment of our Chef @ the Market series. Chef Karo Thom, owner of Salem’s Alcyone Cafe & Catering, will be creating a scrumptious dish using ingredients readily sourced from Salem Saturday Market. Come watch Karo work her magic and taste a sample of what she prepares. You can also pick up the recipe to make it at home and, of course, gather all of the necessary ingredients at the Market!
This was such a fun event! Karo was great, she provided some good tips, everyone had samples of some AMAZING crepes, and we all went home with her recipe in our hands, hoping to re-create the magic. She purchased her seasonal fruit, herbs, and cheeses at the Market just prior to whipping up those crepes.
