Big Game in West Salem

The West Salem Titans football team will be playing an OSAA quarterfinal matchup tonight against West Linn. The game is at 7p at West Salem High. Get there early, the parking lot gets full quickly. West Salem is led by junior quarterback Brett Smith and runningback Salvador Herrera. They are exciting to watch, capable of scoring 60 points in a game. The other two Salem schools, South and Sprague, lost last week so West is Salem's final hope to bring the championship back to the capitol city. In 2004 Sprague won the whole thing led by John Breza and Joey Wong.(Remember how good that team was?) The winner of the game tonight will play the winner of the matchup between Jesuit and Grant in next weeks semifinals round at PGE Park.
