Everyone's writing about strawberries these days. It's hard not too. Oregon strawberries are the best and they are plentiful this time of year. My small garden is producing at least a small bowlful of them everyday for the past couple of weeks. I've been cutting them up, putting them on top of granola and adding milk. That's a breakfast that I never tire of. Strawberries have been easy for me to grow in a sunny spot on the side of the house. This year they have been bigger and better than ever. Here's some links to other strawberry stories from Salemites.

Yum. That looks scrumptious. I can't believe you get that many from your yard! The squirrels always get mine before they totally ripen. :(
