wing salemite.com sites that have the scrolling widget on them, saw a big boost yesterday. The widget counted 491 "uniques." The previous high was 352 on Monday. I do not have any info on how many of these new readers came from
Beer and Blog Salem but that is a new link in to at least a couple of the salemites.com sites including this one and
Lookwhatshappeninginsalem.blogspot.com. Another trend that I noticed is the increased web traffic around the noon hour. A clever blogger might schedule postings to appear online around 10am for maximum impact. Just remember that the site runs on an rss feed system and it takes a little while for new posts to appear on salemites.com.
